What is SDT?
How It Works
Patients are often skeptical of "miracle" machines.

1
Gentle Distraction
The computerized table creates a precise, gentle stretch.
2
Negative Pressure
This creates a "vacuum effect" that pulls bulging disk material back into place.
3
Rejuvenation
Increased blood flow brings oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area to speed up natural healing.
What is it used for?
We often recommend this for specific conditions, including:

Herniated or Bulging Disks

Sciatica
(Leg Pain/Numbness)

Degenerative Disk Disease

Pinched Nerves

Failed Back Surgery Syndrome
Common FAQ
What does SDT feel like? Is it painful?
Not at all. Most patients describe it as a gentle, relaxing stretch. In fact, many of our patients actually fall asleep during their 30-minute sessions. You are always in control and can stop the treatment at any time with a safety button.
How many sessions will I need?
Typically 24–30 sessions depending on severity.
How long does a typical session last?
A standard session lasts about 30 minutes. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to get settled and comfortable.

Can I do this if I've already had back surgery?
Yes, in many cases. If you have "Failed Back Surgery Syndrome" but do not have hardware (screws/plates) in the area being treated, SDT can be an excellent way to find the relief your surgery didn't provide.
Is Spinal Decompression covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance. However, we invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation with our team to address any inquiries and discuss available payment plans.
